#0025 Breast Wellness Day
MELILEA AP HQ, Bangsar South | 19 August 2026
Building Awareness, One Conversation at a Time
MELILEA joined hands with the Breast Cancer Welfare Association (BCWA) to bring an important message about breast health and early awareness to more women through Breast Wellness Day.

The session provided participants with practical information on breast health, common breast cancer risk factors, and the correct way to perform a Breast Self-Examination (BSE). More importantly, the event created a comfortable and supportive space where women could ask questions, gain greater understanding, and learn directly from experienced professionals.
Creating Space for Questions That Matter
Breast health is an important topic, yet some questions can feel difficult to raise in everyday conversations. At the same time, subtle changes in our bodies can sometimes be overlooked simply because we may not know what to pay attention to.

Breast Wellness Day gave participants the opportunity to listen, ask, understand, and become more aware of their own bodies. We were encouraged to see participants actively engaging with the session, asking meaningful questions, and taking the initiative to learn more about their health. These conversations matter because greater awareness can help individuals become more attentive to changes in their bodies and more proactive about seeking appropriate professional advice when needed.

Health Begins with Understanding
At MELILEA, we believe that health is not only about the products we use or the lifestyle choices we make. It also begins with understanding our bodies, building health awareness, and developing the knowledge needed to make more informed decisions about our wellbeing.

Breast Wellness Day was one step towards creating greater awareness and encouraging more open conversations around women’s health. Because health should be more than something we simply talk about.

It should be something we understand, value, and choose to care for every day.
