The MELILEA Golden Voice Singing Competition 2026 Grand Final brought together passion, courage, talent, and dreams on one unforgettable stage. Earlier in the day, 46 contestants competed in an intense preliminary round, with only 15 finalists earning the opportunity to advance to the Grand Final.
Their journey from the regional auditions to the final stage was about far more than singing. Behind every performance were countless hours of practice, the courage to step into the spotlight, and a passion they were determined not to give up.
That evening, all 15 finalists gave their very best. Some touched the audience with heartfelt emotion, while others impressed with their vocal consistency, control, and stage confidence. Several contestants even surpassed their own expectations, revealing a side of themselves that had never been seen before.
With the overall standard so closely matched, every judging decision became a challenging one.
A Night Filled with Memorable Moments
Beyond the competition itself, the Grand Final was also filled with special performances that added warmth and excitement to the evening. One of the most memorable moments came when 72-year-old Dai Jin Mei, winner of the Best
Stage Presence Award during the Malaysia auditions, returned to the stage.
Her vibrant energy and confidence immediately captivated the audience. Before long, the entire hall was swaying along with her performance — a beautiful reminder that passion, confidence, and the courage to dream have no age limit.
A Distinguished Panel of Judges
The Grand Final was judged by respected music industry professionals Zheng Guo Liang, Ong Peng Chu, and Zheng Biai, together with Ms. Wee Siew Ling, Executive Director of MELILEA International Group, and Datuk Prof. Dr. Alan Wong, JP.
Together, the judges witnessed all 15 finalists pour their hearts into their performances and give everything they had for the dreams they had worked so hard to pursue.
