MELILEA AP HQ, Bangsar South | 29 Dec 2024
Strengthening Industry Exchange and Mutual Understanding
MELILEA International Group welcomed a delegation from the Price Supervision and Anti-Unfair Competition Bureau of China’s State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) to its Malaysia Asia-Pacific Headquarters (APHQ) in Kuala Lumpur for an official site visit and sharing session.

The delegation was accompanied by Prof. Dato’ Sri Dr. Barani Karunakaran, President of the Malaysia Direct Distribution Association (MDDA). The visit provided an opportunity for meaningful dialogue and professional exchange, allowing the delegation to gain a closer understanding of MELILEA’s business operations, corporate development, and commitment to responsible business practices.

Building Connections Through Industry Exchange
As markets become increasingly interconnected, communication and knowledge sharing between regulatory bodies, industry organisations, and businesses play an important role in promoting greater understanding of different market environments and business practices.
During the visit, representatives had the opportunity to exchange perspectives and learn more about the development of Malaysia’s direct selling industry and MELILEA’s journey as an international homegrown brand.

The engagement also provided a valuable platform to strengthen mutual understanding and foster constructive connections among representatives from China and Malaysia.
A Meaningful Visit to MELILEA APHQ
For MELILEA, hosting the delegation at its Asia-Pacific Headquarters represented another meaningful opportunity to share the Group’s experience, values, and approach to sustainable business development.
Over the years, MELILEA has remained committed to building its business on the foundations of integrity, professionalism, responsible entrepreneurship, and long-term value creation.
The visit reflected the importance of maintaining open dialogue and positive engagement as businesses continue to operate within an increasingly dynamic and evolving international marketplace. MELILEA sincerely appreciates the delegation and representatives for their visit and meaningful exchange.

Through continued communication, mutual learning, and responsible business practices, we look forward to contributing towards a more sustainable and progressive business environment.
